Global Client Onboarding & Services - Client Service Funds Team
Client Services is part of Robeco’ s Global Client Onboarding & Services department, based in Rotterdam. The Funds team plays an important role in delivering a high-quality client experience, supporting strong global client relationships, increasing client satisfaction, retaining existing business and supporting growth in assets under management.
We work closely with global Sales and Account Management teams to service existing clients and distributors, ensuring that client requirements are understood, commitments are followed up, and activities are performed in line with Robeco’s control framework. By providing reliable, professional and solution-oriented service, we enable our commercial colleagues to focus on developing and growing client relationships.
Position & Requirements
As Junior Client Service Officer, you are responsible for servicing client needs by phone, email, direct contact and/or together with Relationship and Sales Managers. You will act as a trusted partner between clients, Sales, Account Management and internal stakeholders, helping to ensure a smooth and consistent client experience.
Your responsibilities include:
- Partnering with key stakeholders in Global Sales and Account Management teams.
- Optimizing client servicing processes to improve client satisfaction.
- Coordinating the onboarding of new direct fund clients and fund distributors.
- Overseeing third-party fund service providers, including transfer agents such as JPMorgan.
- Monitoring and ensuring that commitments to clients are followed up and fulfilled.
- Responding to day-to-day client enquiries and ad-hoc service requests on a broad range of service matters.
- Supporting processes related to client onboarding, contract management, subscriptions and redemptions, report distribution, fund platforms and client servicing globally.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and the overall client experience.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant full-time work experience, preferably within Client Services, asset management or financial services.
- Academic or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field preferred.
- Good understanding of asset management, fund distribution and the global distribution of mutual funds through fund platforms.
- Strong administrative, organizational and business support skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and accurately under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical, detail-oriented and pragmatic.
- Proactive, independent and able to work well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving international environment.
- A global mindset and sensitivity to cultural differences.
