Corporate Security Analyst - ING

The Security Team is part of the Corporate Security and Investigations team (CSI) and responsible for setting ING’s Global security policies and challenging & advising ING’s business units regarding effectiveness of their security management (this includes Personal Security, Physical Security and Anti-Fraud).

Our goal is to protect ING, its employees, clients, guests, locations and assets against any criminal or environmental threat or risk by implementing physical/personal security measures and or Anti-fraud controls.  Now, we are looking for a new team member who can turn data into information and has a strong affinity for Personal and Physical security risk.

Main responsibilities for this position:

  • Sets and maintains the Personal and Physical Policy and co-creates the Security Control Standard owned by first line of defence;
  • Generates, analyses and presents relevant insights regarding the security landscape, including status of our Key Controls, Gap Analyses and incidents that enable us in sound priority setting;
  • Translates (new) data into information and value for both the personal, physical and fraud domain;
  • Executes quality assurance deep dives to test Personal and Physical security measures and effectiveness of controls;
  • Manages and develops relations with the main internal and external stakeholders involved in Personal and Physical Security.

Who are we looking for?
The Corporate Security Analyst is part of the Security team that is setting and maintaining the Personal and Physical Security Policy and Anti-fraud Policy for ING. In the team your focus and added value is on collecting and analysing data. You have a good understanding of data analysis and have a strong affinity  with and basic knowledge of Personal and Physical security. As this is a new role for the security team, you have a strong personality, are a positive and creative thinker, know how to communicate effectively and have a can do mentality.

What do we expect from you?

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a security and/or analytical role;
  • You have an analytical approach and know how to turn data into information;
  • You have a strong affinity for and basic knowledge of Anti-Fraud, Personal and Physical Security and are willing to deepen your professional skills for these domains;
  • You get a lot of energy from creating insights and translating these insights to concrete improvement suggestions;
  • You like working in a dynamic environment with changing stakeholders and different interests.

Knowledge & Experience

  • You have good command of the English language, both written and spoken. Dutch is a pre or you are willing to learn the Dutch language;
  • Have hands-on experience in working in Security (Personal, Physical and Fraud domain), understanding it’s Governance- and Non-Financial Risk environment;
  • Achieved a relevant bachelor or master’s degree;
  • Have hands-on experience with tools and techniques for data preparation and analysis;
  • You have a CPP or are willing to obtain this.
