Investor Operations Analyst
About Carbon Equity
Carbon Equity is a digital wealth platform that seeks to mobilise private capital at a scale of billions to help solve the world’s biggest challenges, starting with climate change. We do so by democratising access to impact driven alternative investments such as venture capital and private equity. Founded in Amsterdam, we combine a strong culture of impact, high performance, and innovation with a deep commitment to building a values-driven organization. As we scale, we are looking for ambitious, mission-aligned talent to help us accelerate the global transition to a net-zero economy.
About the role
We’re looking for a structured, detail-oriented Investor Operations Analyst with a strong focus on investor onboarding and KYC/CDD processes to help ensure our investor and fund administration runs seamlessly. In this role, you will play a key part in safeguarding the quality, accuracy, and regulatory integrity of our investor base. You’ll support the full investor lifecycle — from onboarding and due diligence to reporting and reconciliations — while working closely with Compliance, Operations, and external partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with precision, understands the importance of regulatory requirements, and takes ownership of getting onboarding “right the first time.”
What You’ll Do:
- Own and execute investor onboarding and KYC/CDD processes, ensuring all regulatory and internal requirements are met accurately and efficiently.
- Lead investors and other business relationships through the onboarding journey, including CDD reviews, source-of-funds checks, documentation validation, and contract signing.
- Ensure and maintain high-quality, audit-ready investor and fund data across our systems (CRM, fund administration tools, reporting platforms).
- Act as a key point of contact for KYC-related questions from investors, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Support fund operations, including capital calls, distributions, transaction monitoring, and preparation of fund reporting.
- Manage our helpdesk for non-sales inquiries, providing prompt and precise responses on onboarding status, investments, and operational processes.
- Prepare and distribute investor communications, statements, and reports in coordination with the Operations and Finance teams.
- Coordinate with external fund administrators, auditors, banks, and compliance partners to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
- Contribute to process documentation and continuously identify opportunities to improve onboarding efficiency, quality, and scalability.

- You understand the importance of KYC, CDD, and regulatory controls and are comfortable applying them in practice.
- You communicate clearly and professionally in both Dutch and English.
- Comfortable working with numbers and data; strong Excel skills are a plus.
- You take ownership, meet deadlines, and are proactive in flagging risks or inconsistencies.
- You enjoy improving processes and collaborating across teams.
- An interest in climate tech, investing, or financial markets is a plus.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–2 years of experience in investor onboarding, customer operations, compliance, or financial services, with hands-on KYC/CDD experience.
- Experience with AML, CDD, or onboarding processes in asset management, banking, fintech, or wealth management is highly valued.
- Motivated starters with relevant internships or strong compliance exposure are also encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law, economics, or a related field.
- Based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate.
- Full-time role (32–40 hours).
What We Offer:
- Join a well-funded startup on a mission to combat climate change
